About Knotty Things…

Knotty Things started in 2018 with a full launch in November 2021.

It started when I could not find many plant hangers that came in black. I have so many plants in my house that I was running out of space, so I started looking for DIY macrame videos. I found I enjoyed making these and my friends started asking for some. After a while, Knotty Things was born.

Knotty Things is a one-woman (and sometimes my mom) show based in Oklahoma City, OK. You can meet us in person at local markets around the city, check out the events page, or give me a follow on Instagram to keep up.

What you get in a Knotty Things purchase…

Each piece is handmade with care. All items are made from natural wood or 100% cotton natural cord and come from small businesses just like this one to ensure the support is spread around.

I have researched my packaging and branding to ensure they are as environmentally friendly as possible.
Each order will come with one of two Knotty Things Designs stickers designed by me, a handwritten thank you card and a long-term care sheet for your piece.

Most of my pieces are made to order with variable shipping times. Some take time because I want to make a perfect piece for you, but since they are handmade it takes a bit of concentration, patience, and just plain not letting a messy knot get to me. If an item is taking longer than expected, I will reach out immediately.
